23rd Dec – Tweed Heads for Christmas

This morning we managed a quick pack up and were at Tweed Heads by 9.30am! The humidity must of been 90% as we shuffled into our little bay, no.72! Cosy, but none the less with the beach one side and the river on the other J. We told the boys they can have a break from their diaries whilst we catch up with family over this next week. Once we were setup we hit the beach for a few hours, Toni (Chris’ sister) arrived after lunch so the beach was the best place to cool off in the morning, the surf was an onshore break, unfortunately no good for surfing. So this time the boys grabbed their surf mats which were loads of fun. Before we knew it Toni had arrived, the afternoon flew as we caught up, did a spot of food shopping for the coming week while we waited for Andrew and Joshua to arrive after work. Finally the family was all together, Toni and Andrew have a lovely little cabin with uninterrupted beach views, and this was to be our new hang out for the next few days.
